Record What to Work Around
Add a limitation with a title and notes, then choose exactly what it covers. Mark it as something to avoid or to use with caution.
- Target joints, movement patterns, primary muscles or specific exercises
- Avoid or use-caution restriction for each limitation
- Active, recovering and resolved statuses, with resolved items kept as history
- Included when you export your data
Warnings While You Train
When an exercise in your workout matches an active or recovering limitation, a warning appears right under it, with the reason it matched.
- Matches by exact exercise, movement, joint or primary muscle
- Warns without blocking: you decide what to do
- Tap the warning to jump straight to exercise swaps
- "This movement hurt" starts a pre-filled limitation from the exercise you're on
Swaps That Steer Clear
Swapping an exercise? Similar options are sorted so the ones that don't match your limitations come first, and each one is labelled.
- Labels for no match, caution, avoid match and coverage unknown
- Options that match an avoid limitation are hidden until you choose to show them
- Quick Swap skips alternatives that match an avoid limitation
- Exercises with incomplete data are flagged, never treated as safe
AI Workouts Checked Before You Save
Workouts and programs built with Roscoe, the AI coach, are checked against your limitations before they're saved, so a conflicting exercise doesn't slip into your plan.
- An exercise that matches an avoid limitation has to be replaced before saving
- Caution matches ask you to review before you continue
- Workouts a coach generates with AI for you are checked too
- Your coach gets a "New limitation reported" alert when you add or change one
A Training Tool, Not a Diagnosis
A limitation records what you've chosen to program around. It is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Exercise data can be incomplete, so review every suggestion and stop if a movement causes pain.
